Love lives here?

Even in prison 3 black men occupying a brown metal bench testing its capacity two out of three over 300lbs one 6'7 two with dreads and then me short, barely any hair, and about 190lbs dripping with muscle the smallest, but the strongest by far, let me tell it all being raised from different areas there at that moment our experiences bringing us together though different paths but coinciding time sharing the same position on a bench tennis court to our right and in front of us track to our left and behind us basketball courts further ahead dominoes and chess played at tables as we looked out onto the preoccupied yard seeing it all but all was far from enough the topic was love surfacing from a poem- I was currently writing I asked the question and he answered, "I'm ready for love" the other said, "you too?!" in a sarcastic yet consenting tone then he went off to explain as if envisioning a work of art looking off into a direct spot like she was there "I want that type of female..." this is when the subject usually takes a boy type turn but it stuck true to the heart the heart of evolving men "..that I can roll over in the bed with and not wanna be wit anybody else" what more could I want honestly? we all craved the same thing going on about our own experiences how they contrasts from the men we are now, #growth "love" I said, "this is the last thing the world would expect coming from 3 convicts on a bench!" a couple laughs capturing the irony nostalgia desires where can't love go? where can't love be? because even love, lives here
